Barbara is a motivational speaker and group exercise consultant with over 30 years of experience in the fitness industry as an instructor, manager, mentor and Master Trainer. With over 20 years in leadership at 24 hour Fitness and the YMCA, she is now the Senior Director of Fitness and Global Field Operations for Beachbody where she hires, trains, develops the Master Trainers as well as helps to build small fitness communities around the world. Her expertise on managing a GX tribe for retention is her specialty, and also knowing what makes a GX schedule run like clockwork.  

Amy Ward

Amy is a Master Trainer for Beachbody LIVE!, presenting PiYo, INSANITY, Turbo Kick, and P90X. Amy received her M.S. in Health and Sport Science with an emphasis in health promotion from the University of Memphis, and a B.S. in Exercise Science from Arkansas State University. She is an ACSM certified personal trainer and a nationally certified group exercise instructor. Amy has a background in corporate wellness, and she is passionate about sharing her energy to uplift and empower others through group fitness.

Lauren George

Lauren George is the Co-Creator of the Enhanced Barre Above Program, owner of Clemson Fitness Company, and a Master Trainer for Balletone. She has had a love for movement since a young age and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Texas A&M University and Master’s Degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies from University of North Texas. She was named EMPOWER! Fusion Education Partner of the Year in 2018. Lauren has had the pleasure of leading the group fitness programs at The Baylor Tom Landry Fitness Center, Florida State University, and Todd Pilates and Fitness. Most of all, Lauren is passionate about helping participants understand that fitness can be FUN!

Lindsey W. Nanney, MS, PAPHS, GFI, CHWC

Lindsey Nanney is the Interim Associate Director for the School of Health and Applied Human Sciences at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW). She is also the Physical Activity and Wellness Coordinator at UNCW. She previously served as the Lifetime Physical Activity and Fitness Coordinator at East Carolina University. She currently sits on the National Consortium for Building Healthy Academic Communities board. She is a certified Group Fitness Instructor through the American Council on Exercise, a Physical Activity in Public Health Specialist through the American College of Sports Medicine, a Certified Health and Wellness Coach through Real Balance Global Wellness, a certified LaBlast Dance Fitness instructor and holds numerous certifications through the Wellness Councils of America. Lindsey has enjoyed leading people in numerous forms of physical activity for 20+ years. She is passionate about every opportunity she has to equip college students to live more abundantly.

Precor Master Coach & CrossFit Greensboro Head Coach

John, CSCS, has over 20 years experience in the fitness industry.  He has worked for 10 years as strength and conditioning coach with multiple youth athletic teams and clubs and has assisted with over 50 athletes attending Division 1 schools. He is the head coach and co-owner of a CrossFit gym in NC for over 10 years.   He is also a Precor Master Coach and has taught CEC classes at over 80 different facilities in North America.  He has presented at multiple conferences and will be presenting at IdeaFit in 2019.
